CLARY SAGE (Salvia Sclarea)
Clary Sage essential oil is extracted from the flowering tops and leaves. It is grown in Morocco, England, France and throughout the Mediterranean.
Clary Sage was once one of the most valued herbs used. In Latin 'clary' means clear eye; the herb was so named because it made a soothing eye lotion.
The essential, oil has a green, balsamic, aromatic smell and is mildly antiseptic, an uplifting tonic, warming and relaxing.
In aromatherapy, Clary Sage essential oil is used for fatigue/stress relief and for helping tension.
